Our Initiatives
The work of Nirbana Educational Trust focuses on three key areas:

Care and Education for Children
The monastery provides shelter, care, and education for orphaned children. It currently supports a group of novice and resident monks while creating a safe environment where children can learn, grow, and build a stable future.

Community Learning and Welfare
The Trust supports educational activities for children from nearby villages and contributes to the social and cultural life of the local community through guidance, mentoring, and community engagement.

Astrology Consultation & Ritual Service
Chief Monk Nirbana offers astrology consultations and guidance to people across Arunachal Pradesh. The monastery also provides mentorship and training to a small group of dedicated students. In the future, the Trust plans to establish a residential astrology learning programme that will welcome participants from India and around the world for immersive study and practice.
To expand its social impact, the Trust is currently constructing a 50-bed hostel for orphaned children and young learners. Support from individuals, institutions, and well-wishers will help accelerate this effort and extend its reach to more children in need.
Invitation to Collab
Nirbana Educational Trust welcomes partnerships with individuals and organizations who share a commitment to education, community welfare, cultural exchange, and grassroots development.
As a growing monastery-based institution in Arunachal Pradesh, we believe meaningful change happens when communities learn from one another. We are open to working with international partners, researchers, educators, volunteers, foundations, and donors who wish to contribute their knowledge, experience, and resources toward community-focused initiatives.
Beyond financial support, we value mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and long-term collaboration. We are particularly interested in learning from global best practices in education, child welfare, community development, cultural preservation, and volunteer engagement. Such exchanges will help us strengthen our programmes and build new opportunities for the children and communities we serve.
We also aspire to develop residency, learning, and exchange programmes that bring together people from different countries and backgrounds to learn, share experiences, and contribute to the growth of our community.
Whether you are interested in volunteering, conducting research, supporting our educational activities, contributing to our hostel project, or exploring collaborative programmes, we invite you to connect with us and become part of our journey.
Together, we can create opportunities for learning, cultural understanding, and community development that benefit both local and global communities.
